Robert Frost Farm

What you need to know:
The park, located on Route 28, is open Wednesdays through Sundays June 6-21 and Sept. 12-Oct. 12 and daily from June 22 through Sept. 7. New Hampshire residents are admitted for free. Other admission is $7 for adults, $3 for children ages 6 to 11. Children 5 and younger are admitted for free. Pets are not allowed. For information, call 432-3091.
What you'll find:
The farm was home to New Hampshire poet Robert Frost and his family from 1900 to 1911. Frost attributed many of his poems to memories from his years living in Derry. The simple, two-story, white cllapboard structure is typical of New England homes from the 1880s. The site offers tours, displays, poetry readings and literary programs. Picnicking sites also are available.
