“Quilts: Antique to Contemporary” exhibit

An exhibit of antique quilts from the New London Historical Society collections, area collectors and contemporary textile artists.

River Day and Wingzilla

River Day, a free celebration of the Androscoggin River, includes canoe and kayak races and a “flotilla parade of boats,” boat tour rides, log rolling demonstrations, a petting farm and crafts. Wingzilla is a giant, free chicken wing cook-off competition and a two-man horseshoe tournament. The gates open at 10:00 am and best of all, there’s no admission.
